Tulaga Sacco society limited was registered on 6th January 2014 under the Co-operative Societies Act Cap 490 Laws of Kenya as limited liability co-operative society in order to mobilize savings and provide affordable credit facilities to its members.

The Sacco draws its membership from Tulaga Sacco Society Limited limited In order to continuously grow its membership through aggressive membership recruitment. The Sacco's office is located within Tulaga Farmers Cooperative Society Limited premises in Engineer Town.

The Sacco has diversified the scope of financial products so as to meet the social and economic needs of its members as well as compete with other Sacco's and financial institutions.

The Purpose of Forming Tulaga Sacco Society Limited :

•  To promote thrift among its members by affording them an opportunity for accumulating their savings and deposits and create thereby a source of funds from which loans can be given to them at fair and reasonable rates of interest.
  
  
• To ensure members personal growth through the introduction of new products and services that will promote the economic base of the members.
  
  
• To ensure progress of Tulaga Sacco Society Limited members through continuous education programmes on proper use of credit, reduction of poverty, human dignity and co-operation.
  
  
  

 Management Structure

The Sacco is managed by a team of seven committee members.

To facilitate successful implementation of this plan, the committee members are called upon to be committed and work as a team.

To facilitate efficient credit management, a credit committee has been established in this Sacco.

The society has a supervisory committee of three members who verify transactions of the society on quarterly basis. The society has four permanent employees with the manager being in charge of day to day society's operations.
